A Reason Diet’s Don’t Work

There’s no secret that diets do not work. You diet today and gain it back tomorrow. It’s a sad truth that can be corrected once we have the knowledge of eating to both release fat and keep from gaining unwanted weight. In this raw video with the CEO of Diet Free Life, LLC, Robert Ferguson shares the importance of learning principles and not merely following a method.

In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, “If you learn only methods, you’ll be tied to your methods, but if you learn principles you can devise your own methods.” IF you learn only the method of counting calories to lose weight, you’ll lose the weight but what happens once you stop counting calories?
IF you learn the methods of paleo, South Beach, Weight Watchers, etc., you’ll lose weight but what happens when you no longer stick to the restrictions of these “diets”? The answer is that you will gain the weight back and most likely begin looking for another diet (method).
